Allen Temple AME Church has been a fortress of faith and a force for change in East Oakland for over 100 years. We feed the hungry, house the homeless, educate the young, and advocate for the voiceless — while worshipping Jesus with everything we have.
We believe that Sunday morning worship and Monday morning justice are not separate things. They are one seamless act of devotion to God.
