We are excited to extend a special invitation for you to join our Lector Ministry, an essential and enriching role in our Catholic Parish. If you have a passion for sharing the Word of God and would like to contribute to the spiritual growth of our community, we welcome you to consider becoming a Lector. 

Responsibilities

As a Lector, your primary responsibility will be to proclaim the Word of God during Mass. This involves: 

• Articulately and reverently reading the assigned scripture passages. 
• Conveying the message with clarity, passion, and a deep understanding of the sacred text. 
• Creating an atmosphere that enhances the worship experience for all parishioners. 

Training and Support

No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided to familiarize you with the guidelines and techniques of effective proclamation. Our ministry leaders will offer ongoing support and encouragement to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your role. 

Time Commitment

Lectors typically serve during specific Mass times, and the schedule is flexible to accommodate your availability. Whether you prefer to serve at one Mass per month or more frequently, we appreciate your commitment to this vital ministry.
